Markus Bixby is the story of a brilliant 22 year old man, who is working at a glass bottom tour boat company on Catalina Island, California. Although he will be going off to school the following year to Annapolis Naval Academy in Maryland, Markus enjoys his current life and occupation. One day, during the course of his boating adventures, he discovers something amazing.
The movie Markus Bixby, tells the story of a man who makes an amazing discovery. Markus works at an unusual job, as a guide for a glass bottom boat company. One day, as he is returning from a cruise, Markus sees something incredible glide under his boat. In an attempt to confirm what he saw; Markus returns multiple times to the location of the incident. In addition, he takes overt steps to create proof of the phenomenon. His enthusiasm to find out the truth, eventually becomes an obsession. This, in turn, adversely affects his job and interactions with friends and co-workers. In addition, Markus’ activities garner the unwanted attention of a criminal organization, that is operating on the same waterways. This situation, ultimately puts Markus in great danger.
